The ROI from video conferencing: still elusive

Despite an upsurge in interest, video conferencing — both PC based and stand-alone — offers limited opportunity for positive ROI in the corporate environment. Corporations should look for specific applications where benefits may be achieved rather than engage in wide-spread deployments. In particular, applications with interactive visual demonstrations such as help desk offer the greatest opportunity for return.
