The value of improved forecasting with SCP solutions

Nucleus interviewed 68 supply chain professionals leveraging a Supply Chain Planning (SCP) solution and found that SCP solutions improved forecasting practices. On average, demand forecast accuracy was increased by 27 percent, with interviewees reporting improved SKU-level forecast accuracy by up to 30 percent. The forecasting process was also accelerated, taking as low as 20 percent of the time previously required. Improved forecast accuracy led to a mean three percent improvement in fill rates, helping users meet customer demand.
