Updates and impressions from HR Tech 2012

The evolutionary course from transactional human resources (HR) solutions to human capital management (HCM) should help HR professionals concentrate more on employees and less on the tools they need to manage them. At the HR Technology Conference in Chicago, keynote speakers were discussing the first, and software vendors the latter. There still seems to be a disconnect between the vision for talent management as a strategy and the way it’s being delivered by vendors.
