Vroozi expands spend under management and shortens purchasing cycles

Procurement teams are measured on how much of their company’s spending they actually influence, and the everyday buying that keeps a business running is where they lose the most ground. Laptops, laboratory supplies, uniforms, and office furniture move through purchasing cards, e-mail requests, and direct calls to suppliers, because the employees doing the buying find the sanctioned path slower than the workaround, and the line-item record goes with them. Customers interviewed by Nucleus stated that Vroozi reverses that pattern by making catalog buying the easiest way to purchase, then carrying the resulting line-item detail into the ERP that remains the system of record. Organizations reported recapturing a quarter to a third of annual purchase order volume from purchasing cards, savings ranging from about five percent of annual indirect spend to at least 10 percent in categories that had previously gone unmanaged, and same-day requisition to order approval on 95 percent of requests against prior averages above two days. Deployments ran from about two months to just over nine months, with IT involvement limited to single sign-on and a file transfer connection to the ERP. Vroozi delivers a buying experience employees use without being compelled to, which is the condition every other procurement outcome depends on.
