Cloud data center security benefits

As concerns about security breaches and their economic and other implications grow, companies are taking a closer look at their data security strategies, both physical and logical. In a survey of IT decision makers, Nucleus found gaps in access control, separation of duties, and recovery strategies led only 38 percent of on-premise corporate data centers to score an “A” grade for security. The survey also showed that cloud data centers such as those provided by Amazon Web Services offered significant improvements across all key areas of operational security.
