Creating the Smartest Grid: Oracle acquires DataRaker

Oracle has entered an agreement to acquire DataRaker, a cloud-based analytics platform focused on electric, gas, and water utilities data. Coupled with Oracle Utilities, this acquisition will provide utilities with a variety of data analysis capabilities typically associated with telco, such as zero-usage detection, proactive usage detection, and proactive fraud detection.
