At its 2025 Analyst and Advisor Conference, Hitachi Digital Services outlined its IIoT strategy focused on overcoming legacy system integration, data fragmentation, and real-time analytics challenges. The vendor targets asset-intensive verticals, such as manufacturing, transportation, and life sciences, where downtime and compliance carry significant operational risk. Hitachi’s current offerings include IT/OT integration, cloud-based data platforms, and modular smart manufacturing solutions that are already in production across multiple industries. Additionally, Hitachi also announced enhancements to its ITxOTxAI digital platform and vertical applications and previewed advanced capabilities, such as Agentic AI and fully autonomous operations. This focus on modular, results-first adoption ensures that customers benefit immediately, while also positioning them to take advantage of future innovations as they become available.
