PTC announces the acquisition of ServiceMax

On November 17th, 2022, PTC announced the acquisition of ServiceMax, a cloud-based software for field service operations management. Expected customer impact includes boosted field technician productivity, enhanced product lifecycle visibility, and a consolidated technology stack for customers. The acquisition adds Field Service Management (FSM) functionality to PTC’s suite, making the vendor a one-stop-shop for end-to-end management of the product lifecycle. Moving ahead, Nucleus expects PTC’s suite to deliver even greater ROIs as a result of integrated FSM data streams.
