ACA uncertainty leads to halted development

Until there is greater clarity regarding the outcome of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), vendors will hold off releasing new functionality and usability upgrades related to it. Holding back on innovation will put a cap on the ROI that end users can currently achieve from human capital management (HCM) suites that help them manage their benefit offerings. ACA reporting remains a key cost for benefits departments, and end users will be hoping for solutions soon to allow them to further integrate and automate their HCM processes along ACA compliance requirements.
