By creating an independent business out of the combination of WorkAngel and LifeWorks, Ceridian has diverged from its peers in adapting to the ways employers manage people. Organizations first seek direct and indirect benefits from their investment in human capital management (HCM), which Dayforce HCM delivers. They then strive to improve employee engagement, the focus of mobile-driven LifeWorks, and the logical progression is for separate vendors to approach these two needs.
