Employers continue to gravitate to suites for human capital management (HCM) that encompass not only talent management, but also capable workforce management (WFM), core HR, and even payroll. Providers of technology primarily for talent management appear to be responding: They’re partnering with peers whose suites broaden each player’s breadth, or they’re developing in-house capability. A race to meet ever more complicated employment law is a big factor, and, to remain competitive over the long term, Cornerstone, too, needs a response – one that goes beyond bucking the trend.
